Product Information for "FlightSim Studio - Super 27 Expansion Pack" The Super 27 Expansion Pack updates the Boeing 727 with upgraded engines, avionics, and cockpit features. Based on the existing FlightSim Studio version for the 727-200 series, this DLC adds more power, new sounds, and enhanced onboard systems to Microsoft Flight Simulator. This add-on can only be used in conjunction with the 727-200 cargo or passenger variant (or both). It is not a standalone product. At the core of the pack are the JT8D-217C engine nacelles with iconic thrust reversers, combined with improved flight dynamics and a boosted idle mode for realistic handling. The cockpit features digital fuel gauges, automatic spoilers, two DME receivers, and a moving map display. The digital VSI with integrated TCAS improves situational awareness and can also be used with the 727 base packages. The main new feature is the Collins EFIS suite (optionally accessible via the clipboard) with APS-85 autopilot and vertical navigation (VNAV) functions. This upgrade replaces traditional ADI and HSI with modern electronic displays, offering pilots a choice between classic instruments and advanced avionics for versatile piloting. The upgrade is available for both passenger and cargo variants, including a range of authentic Super 27 liveries.
